1lb / 450 g brambles (blackberries)
2 cooking apples
1 dessertspoon honey
Cinnamon to taste
- Peel, core and slice the apples.
- Mix with the brambles in a microwave proof bowl or casserole dish.
- Add cloves and cinnamon.
- Add honey.
- Add water, about halfway up the fruit.
- Cook on FULL for 5 - 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- If you have no microwave oven, simmer on the hob until the fruit is cooked.
- Use marrow or pumpkin in place of apple.
