Mulled Wine : Glutenfree

Ingredients: to serve 20 glasses

To a 1 litre carton of orange juice add

3 lemons, remove the pips and slice thinly

1 cinnamon stick

10 cloves

½ tsp nutmeg

½ tsp mixed spices

½ tsp allspice

sugar to taste

Simmer gently for 20 minutes.

Add 1 litre of red wine, elderberry or bramble or a fruity grape wine. Do not boil.

Serve hot.

For a non alcoholic mulled drink add 1 litre of apple juice instead of the wine. Do not add sugar until you have tasted the mixture as this is quite sweet.
