None of these fruit contain any quantity of starch, but store sugar within the cellulose cell wall which prevents the surge of sugar that comes from refined sugar in the diet. They form a useful sweetener for starchy meals, but this should not be taken beyond 20% of the ingredients by weight.

They all contain useful amounts of calcium and potassium.
