4 eggs

8 oz / 225 g grated cheddar cheese

2 oz / 50 g gram flour

1/2 pint / 300 ml milk

1 oz / 25 g fresh ground mustard seed

salt to taste

fresh ground black pepper to taste

2 tomato thinly sliced


  • Beat the eggs and then beat in the remaining ingredients.

  • Place the mixture in a greased baking dish.
    • Place the sliced tomato on the top before baking.
      • Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven, Gas mark 6, 400°F, 200°C
