In my country white rice and black beans are a stapple diet for most people.
On top of it it is added, with gusto, steak and french fries.
Does it mean the country is inexorably being poisoned into disease ?

I do not eat white rice anymore; and cooked beans once in while, by itself or w/ veggies.

Is there a problem to dress a green salad with vinaigrette made w/olive oil , vinegar, Dijon mustard, fresh onions and persil

Beans is a mixture of both protein and starch and yes can be eaten with rice. The only food that should not be eaten with starch for optimal digestion based on the food combining diet is CONCENTRATED proteins, which are meats, eggs, cheese, and milk. Any other protein/starch foods are perfectly ok eaten together
