173.Indonesian Barbecue Sauce : Glutenfree

4 oz / 100g coconut, fresh or dessicated

1 onion

¼ pint 140 ml milk

½tsp / 1g chilli powder (to taste)

1 juice of one lemon


Finely chop the coconut and onion

Mix all the ingredients together and cook very gently until the onion is soft. This sauce can also be served without cooking.

Mint Sauce


½ oz / 12g fresh mint leaves

2 tbsp / 20 ml vinegar

½ oz / 12g sugar
