131.Mum's Flapjack : Glutenfree
Ingredients: makes 1 ½ lb 4oz / 100g caster sugar 3 oz / 75g butter or hard margarine 1 table spoon golden syrup or treacle 2 oz / 50g cornflakes 4 oz / 100g flaked millet (purchased as precooked) 4 oz / 100g flaked rice (purchased as precooked)

Instructions:
Melt the butter, sugar and syrup together over a low heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Stir in the cornflakes, millet flake and rice flake.
Grease a shallow 11" x 8" tin
Spread the mixture in the tin.
Cooking:
Preheated oven
gas mark 2 300°F 150°C
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Cut into fingers when hot and turn out of the tin when cold.
Variations: add 2 oz chopped mixed nuts.
