250.Dried fruit salad Recipe: Low Fat, Low Sugar
Dried dates, apricots, figs, prunes, sultanas.
- Wash the fruit to remove any grit.
- Place the dried fruit in a large oven-proof glass bowl and cover with cold water.
- Leave to absorb the water for 12 hours.
- Place in the oven at gas mark2, 300F, 150C and bring slowly to a simmer for an hour.
- Serve hot or cold.
