Greens and Heron also sell gluten free beer in the UK but I don't know where it is brewed.

See https://coeliac.info/suppboard/viewtopic.php?t=112 for more details including beer available in other countries

Dear Alice
I am sure they are delicious but they are not brewed in the U.K they are brewed in Belgium. I can't fault them but I think it is good to support our own small breweries

Re: UK Gluten Free Beer: from on 2005-01-27

you can't support what isn't being produced, and why support something that does not taste nice?

Heron is poor, Bi-Aglut is horrid, Greens is the only beer that actually tasteslike beer.

Greens developed the beer, he's british and we should be supporting british entrepreneurialism

I could'nt resist browsing your net.We Coeliacs are still very parched in Australia.
However we are advised by [as I know] a couple of our smaller breweries that we may get some relief by the end of February.
In the meantime you good people drink up and we will do our best to catch up.

Kind regards, Dave Woods

I understand that Green's is coming your way as well over the next few months so you will probably end up better off than us here. I do not know what other gf beers there will be, all I can say is that Green's is delicious and is a range of 3 products, a lager, a bitter (highly regarded by CAMRA over here) and a stout....and for you it is likely to an oasis in the desert!

I could not imagine a hot climate and no beer. That's just cruel

I live fairly local to Thirsk, (Darlington) can you buy direct from the brewery?? or do they serve it in the local Pubs in the vicinity.

Have tried "Against the Grain" and was really impressed so I am looking forward to trying Hambleton Ales effort but it seems a little more expensive to mail order a case, I would like to save some money by picking a few bottles up myself!
