Is there any negative association between migraine headaches and Gluten food products? thank you

Gluten is a direct cause of migraine for some people.

I used to suffer from approx 4-5 headaches a week. Now I am gluten free that has greatly reduced to maybe 1 or 2 a month

My sister and I suffered from headaches before going gluten free since we were children. Whereas my sister had full blown migraines, I had cluster headaches on the left side. I found mine were caused by sugar. Her's stopped after being gluten free for approximately three months

I am new to going wheat/glulten free...I was wondering if developing headaches after going GF is common and on average how long do they last? I have developed a crazy headache for about 9 days now....any help? Thanks! R
