I was born with coeliac disease in 1969.I Iost all my hair and nails when i was born, the hospital told my parents at that time they were not sure why i was not thriving and taking my milk. I spent three months in the hospital in dover.
My mum used to come up with lots of diffrent thing to be able to give me as at the time there was not alot known about the disease. My mum did a great job made the odd mistake but not as bad as i have. I have been of and on my diet since i turned 13 and i dont always keep very well. Write to Coeliac UK. PO Box 220, High Wycombe, Bucks HP11 2HY
Tell them that you were diagnosed medically as coeliac and ask them to send you a copy of the food list.
They ask for a donnation of between 5 and 10 pounds for the food list, but membership is free.
The food list gives details of almost all brands of food that are gluten-free in the UK

WHY NOT HAVE A CHAT WITH YOUR GP AND ASK TO BE REFERRED TO ATATE REGISTERED DIETITIAN FOR ADVICE AND SUPPORT. HE/SHE WILL BE ABLE TO ORGANISE SOME SAMPLE PACKS OF GLUTEN FREE FOODS AND PROVIDE UPDATED DIETARY INFORMATION.HOPE THIS HELPS AS I FOUND IT INVALUABLE. BEST OF LUCK
