The trail is little more than 1 meter wide - typical of an animal trail on earth!

The network below is unlikely to be cracking of the ground - note howthe trails seem to continue over surface features.
This looks far more like animal trails on a vegetated surface - very similar to those seen in vegetated deserts on earth.
