Bainbridge, Cam High Road, Bardale and Semer Water 12.82 miles
We walked from Bainbridge, up the Cam High Road. A Roman road. Then down into Bardale Head past the sheep folds. Keeping our eyes open for some of the rare alpine flowers that grow here. We followed the Bardale Beck before crossing it and descended into Marsett down the Marsett Ridge. We followed Marsett Lane until we took the path to Semer water, then kept to the east bank of the river Bain before climbing Bracken Hill and then descending back into Bainbridge. A total of 12.82 miles
