A 10 mile walk down the Teign Gorge and a visit to Castle Drogo decorated for Christmas. Hunter's Path, Fingle Bridge, Clifford Bridge, Saw Mill, Wooston Castle, Fingle Bridge, track to HydroPower, Deer Park, Hunter's path.

I started at the Castle Drog car park (NT) but there is some free car parking at Fingle Bridge, Clifford Bridge and at the Saw Mill.

After the walk I visited Castle Drogo to see the Christmas decoration. From the car park to the Castle and back is about 1 mile.

I chose this walk as it is almost all on well drained paths and tracks with almost no mud at all. Note that the path may be closed after extremely heavy rain, and there may be diversions as a result of forest operations on weekdays.
