Exit the western entrance to Grimspound and immediately turn right and head north. Look for the path following the contours.

Cross the road and head towards Headland Warren Farm

There are often Llamas in this field. Follow the path round the northern corner of the field.

Then at the Vtifer mine ruins turn south down the valley , through a gate and turn right into the forest.

Into the Soussons Down forest. Keep heading west of South

Look out for the path leaving the forest track, to keep heading south. When you reach the forestry track again turn right. Follow the track and cross the minor road near Ephraim's Pinch.

Take the path across Cator Common

Don't follow the track at the south end of Cator Common - head for the gate where the fence alongside a road meets the trees.

Follow the road south from Cator Common and turn left to go through Lower Cator and past this clapper bridge.

Follow the road up a hill and turn rigth into the lane to Broadaford.

Cross the stream again at Broadaford

and folow the track through these large trees.

The track comes out onto Rowden Down. Turn right, and then at the south end of Rowden Down, turn left to head north east over the down

Follow the wall down off Rowden Down and cross the small road to head back up Dunstone Down to the car park.
