Haldon Forest
This is a walk of 6 miles on well drained tracks
We had an early but cold start on a bright sunny day. The forest is full of colur with golds and browns. We saw several groups of deer, and as we were approaching the pond, two deer shot out of the bushes and the first fell over right beside me as it tried to swerve. The second ran between us!
Walked up to the seats beside Haldon Belverdere for our lunch and to take in the views.
