There is good car park just before Belstone Village. Follow the lane due South onto the moor, then keep rightover Belstone Common to the stone circle

..After Higher Tor we headed South East towards Taw Marsh, crossing the stream from Steeperton Gorge near to where it meets Steeperton Brook. Up through the settlements, and then straight on South East to cross Steeperton Brook before heading for Hound Tor.

...From Hound Tor there is a clear path to the stone circle and then on to Cosdon beacon

...From the top of Cosdon Hill, head almost due North heading down to the west corner of the field walls below, then a clear path North West and then West back to the footbridge over the River Taw.
